TYLER – Russell-Tyler-Ruthton fell 64-45 to Central Minnesota Christian on Friday night.
Brett Knudsen led the Knights with 14 points in the loss.
Isaiah DeRuyter added 10 points, seven rebounds and two blocks for RTR.
RTR (3-9) will play at Southwest Minnesota Christian tonight.

WABASSO – Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop defeated Wabasso 65-34 on Friday night.
GFW (13-2, 8-0 Tomahawk) was led by Seth Schuette, who scored 20 points.
Tony Franta led Wabasso with nine points. He also grabbed three rebounds in the loss.
Colton Taylor chipped in seven points for the Rabbits.
Wabasso (1-15, 1-8 Tomahawk) will play at New Ulm Cathedral on Friday.

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Sarah Buysse scored the go-ahead basket with 0.6 seconds remaining in overtime to give the Marshall Tigers a thrilling 41-40 victory.
“It was an exciting game,” Marshall coach Dan Westby said. “It was good to play in that environment. This was a huge win for us.”
Buysse’s clutch basket capped off a strong performance, as she finished with a team-high eight points, along with five steals and two assists.
Morgan Saugstad also scored eight points in the win, while pulling down a team-high 11 rebounds.
Marshall (13-2) returns to the floor tonight for another non-conference matchup. Awaiting the Tigers is Hill-Murray, another Class AAA opponent that enters the game with a 10-2 record.
“It will be tough for us tomorrow,” Westby said. “We need to follow this game up with another strong effort.”
Tonight’s game is scheduled to tip at 5 p.m.

CANBY – Canby dropped a non-conference dual to Adrian 44-19 on Friday night.
The Lancers picked up five wins in the bout.
Payton Viessman gave the Lancers an early lead with his win by decision over Beau Bullerman.
At 120, Konnor King earned the Lancers’ second win with a decision over Greg Kern.
Quentin Beiningen gave Canby its third win of the night with a major decision over Logan Nelson.
Jack Citrowske defeated Logan Rogers by decision at 152.
Scoring the final points of the dual for Canby was Cole Regnier, who topped Tony Sieve by fall.
Canby will host Minneota on Tuesday.

MARSHALL – The Marshall Tigers did not pick up a win against Jackson County Central or Worthington at their home triangular on Friday night.
The Tigers loss 64-13 to JCC and 61-7 against Worthington.
Against JCC, Marshall earned points in three bouts.
Nick Erbes won by decision 6-5 over Dalton Wagner at 132 for Marshall’s first points.
At 145, Collin Noriega pinned Alec Fischer in the second period.
Ramzi Gregoire defeated Luke Pygman by major decision at 152 for Marshall’s final points of the dual.
In Marshall’s 61-7 loss to Worthington, Erbes got things started with a decision over Jeffrey Camocho. That was followed by Gregoire, who won by major decision over Zach Bruns.

BLAINE – Marshall lost 5-0 to St. Francis/North Branch on the final day of the Schwan Cup.
SF/NB took a 1-0 lead after the first period on a Holly Anderson goal, assisted by Sophia Zebro.
They scored the next four goals all in the second period in a 10-minute span.
The last goal came on a power play by Afton Douville.
Morgan Morrill finished the game with 30 saves on 35 shots on goal, for a .857 save percentage.
Marshall (8-8) hosts Worthington on Tuesday.
